‘Orange Is the New Black’ is a Netflix original comedy-drama series, created by Jenji Kohan and produced by Lionsgate Television. Based on Piper Kerman’s best-selling memoir Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison, the critically acclaimed series premiered on July 11, 2013, and stars Taylor Schilling, Jason Biggs and Kate Mulgrew. Kerman serves as executive consultant. The show was selected as a 2013 Peabody Award winner.

On July 26, 2019, Netflix released the seventh and final season of ‘Orange Is the New Black’.
